It’s playtime BIG TIME at the East Coast Radio House + Garden Show 2025! We’ve taken our usual Kids Zone and Teen Zone to intergalactic heights with enough fun, crazy, scary and cool activities to keep them happy and engaged for the whole day!

Climb on board the Fairytale Express, and buckle up, it’s going to be a magical ride. Bump into your favourite cartoon characters at the Show, brave up to the creepiness of Monster Manor, sport a cool, temporary airbrush tattoo, and join in the mega-competitive Nerf Gun games. The Kids Zone and the Teen Zone will be open daily from midday to 6pm!

And the even better news? The drop-off zone! Your kids can be dropped off and booked into the Kids Zone, under the super-watchful eyes of a caring team, while you do what you came to do. Drop and shop. That’s the plan to free you up to soak in everything you see. Investigate that new dishwasher, taste those homemade pickles, choose glorious wallpaper for your bedroom, and watch a hot celeb turn on the heat in the Hirsch Kitchen… knowing that your children are 100% safe and entertained.

It’s school holidays, so kids rule. For little ones, there’s the FUNtastic Melissa and Doug Play Space where they can road test their latest toys. Let them get madly messy on the weekends with a little facepainting from 3 to 5pm, and during the week, same time, sport a temporary airbrush tattoo.

Mermaid Calypso is going to be there! She’ll not only meet ‘n greet you, but pose for a photograph with your kids, every single weekday from 12:30 to 13:30. On the weekends, there are other fantastical fairytale character Meet and Greets from 3pm to 4pm. Come and see who they are!

Monster Manor will open daily from 12:00 to 21:00, and this year it’s more monstrous than ever! Not for the faint-hearted – or Under 12s – it’s literally a horror story obstacle and they’ll love it! Our Inflatable Bootcamp and Wacky Races will blow your mind! Think you’re fast? Prove it  when you race your friends while bouncing on ridiculous inflatable creatures. Then crush the competition in family games and see who survives the ultimate bootcamp showdown. Bragging rights are on the line! Then prepare for the Military Base Nerf Gun Zone. Soldiers, report for duty! Your team’s mission awaits at our family-friendly military base Nerf gun zone. Engage the enemy, complete your objective, and claim victory before time runs out!

The greatest living and lifestyle show in Durban, this year’s East Coast Radio House + Garden Show is all about family. And with the Drop Off Zone, you can head off to do your thing, while they do theirs! It’s the Show for everyone, every day and evening from 28 June to 6 July. You won’t want to be anywhere else.
